"Dog" Days of Summer

Our dogs, Crockett (above) and Fletcher (below), are going on 12 years old now. They were my family before Marcus and Harper. However, they are totally in love and very protective of Harper. They enjoy traveling to Mamaw and Papaw's with us.

Harper is riding and crashing her big wheel. Check out the driving gear...dress, tennis shoes, and zebra bike shorts:)

Love the facial expression! Thanks Cousin Allie for letting us borrow the bathing suit!

Road Trip!

Harper has not been to the beach since she was 9 weeks old. Needless to say, she doesn't remember a thing about it. These first few pics are of Harper straight out of the car...still in her pj's.
I knew we needed to continue swim lessons this year for my peace of mind. Harper has no fear! The swim lessons were put to good use.

Birthday Parties

Harper celebrated 3 times for her third birthday. The first party was her friend party where she takes gymnastics. It was so much fun watching a gym full of kids running and screaming and having a good time. Harper decided a princess cake was appropriate for this party.

The next party was on her actual day of birth. Harper, her Dad, Uncle Geep, and I celebrated this special day at our local Japanese eatery. It's amazing to watch an otherwise light eater put away the food! At this particular party, Harper decided that a Hello Kitty cake would do the job.

The last party was the family birthday party. Two of my favorite people in the pic below...Harper and Hannah

It was so sweet to watch Aidan help Harper put on her new dress/nightgown.

Yes, that is a ball you see on top of a birthday cake. I left the Wubzy cake topper in Chattanooga. This was the only thing I could find last minute:)

Beautiful Spring Day!

Harper and I showed up at Dad's scrimmage today right in time to play on the field. She loved it. She met up with some old friends.
Get my hair out of my face!!

Harper, Emily, and Levi played a little football.

Harper is showing her sweet side by helping Levi up.

Sweet again...giving B.J. a kiss.

What a crew! Too many boys for Harper...
In the below shots, the Harpster made her Daddy proud:)

OHS Cheer Clinic

This weekend, Harper was starting to feel a little better from her illnesses. We attempted to participate in the cheer camp held at my school. I saw little flashes of the true Harper from time to time. I found myself shaking my head and giggling quite a bit. In the above pic, our beloved babysitter/dogsitter, Alex, tried to teach Harper a chant.

Now, we are getting out motions corrected...pretty good for a two year old:)

Ta Daaaaa! Thanks OHS Cheerleaders for your patience today!
