We took a family field trip last Friday. Harper and her Dad had never ridden horses so we had to get them in the saddle. Thanks to Ms. Vicki we had lots of fun.
Not only did Harper get to ride Vicki's 30 year old pony, Thunder, she also got to help feed the horses.
Doesn't Marcus look just like Gus off of Lonesome Dove? He did pretty good on Joe. He even had him loping (sp?). We are learning new horse riding vocabulary.
Harper and Dad are just hanging out at the school's picnic listening to the music. It took Harper a little while but she warmed up to the festivities as you will soon see.
Harper was able to sit still on Cami's lap for a few seconds. 
In this picture, Harper has noticed the band and the music for the first time.
Now, she is breaking it down! Harper stood in the middle of the picnic and put on a show.

One of my favorite gifts is my princess card from Uncle Tom. And yes, Aunt Paula, my hamster card is still alive and kicking somewhere. See below.
In the above picture, Harper has a room full of people singing to her. I'm not sure she knows what to think even though she should.....her Daddy has been practicing with her all week on the birthday song:) The next series of pictures speak for themselves!
Daddy and Geep are trying to put Harper's new Dora ATV together. It may start backfiring in a day or two....I'll keep you posted. 
Geep, Amy, and Harper are enjoying a special moment together. Geep and Amy are getting married this summer. Watch out, Amy! There's something in the water here.
Sweaty Harper finally gets to go for a ride! By the end of the night, Ms. Smary Pants was able to hop on, push the start button, and take off all by herself. Scary!
This weekend was Harper's birthday party. Here, she is getting ready for the party by helping Nana with her camera. By the way, Harper picked out her own shoes for the event.
We are warming up for the big event by giving Harper a card to read. She takes her reading time very seriously.
Harper is waiting patiently for her Daddy to open one of her new dolls.
